New board software.

Well, I like it, but I wonder why this one performs differently on my Dell, running XP, than the Hobart board does.

Haven't played with all the do-dads yet, and don't have time now, but it's cool so far.

It doesnt seem to work right for me, the old board system was much easier to navigate

But the text on the main board could be darker. When I sit in my (well lit) office, looking at my monitor, the pale blue really washes out against the backround. Maybe a medium or dark blue? (or even, dare I say it, a Miller blue).

It's different, but in 2 weeks I won't remember what the old format looked like.. ......I guess it all depends on whether you are willing to accept change, or resist change. I long for the good old days as much as anyone, but gave up a long time ago on worrying about things I have no control over......Neat colored smilies now.... ...and icons....

i am willing to deal with the other changes here with the new site but this user thing has got to go!!! makes me sound like i need a 12 step program.

Like KLSM54 said, soon you will not remeber what the old board looked like and you will be worrying about what welder to buy next. I am the worlds worst when it comes to change, but its knnda like getting shots when you were a kid; you know its inevitable so just look the other way and it won't hurt as bad.

Even though I'll look at this board first whenever I go on-line, it would be nice if the webmaster would fix the email notification feature. It saves a lot of time and gets you to where you need to be to take care of the business at hand!
