    I got my Dynasty 300DX tigrunner today and it is way cool

    It weld aluminum awsome and Stainless steel is awsome


    Ok here is a question for you Dynasty dx owners when i am using the pulse on aluminum it seems that i dont the puddle like i should even with max foot peddle.
    What is the best allaround tungsten to use?

    Aluminum and stainless

    Gary,
    Remember when using the pulse, you will have to raise the main Amps up because you are not welding at that peak amps all the time now and overall heat input is less. If your peak time setting is only 50% and you normally weld at 125 amps, you now may have to bump total amps up to 175 or higher. Or you can lengthen the peak time value to say 65%. That will also increase the heat to the work.

    Best Tungsten: Ceriated or Lanthanated

      I prefer 2% lanthanated tungsten with the Dynasty 300DX. You can adjust your peak time and background amperage % in the pulse program if necessary.
