Well, it was a long time since I've done this weld, but 125amps DC+ with a 6018 electrode, and 1/4" pipe. Just curious if this is the way stick welds can look.

Tanner, thats not bad at all but it looks like it was maybe a bit to cold or moved a bit to fast.The bead looks high in the center it should be flatter with smoother riples. Did you mean 7018? Did you leave a root opening or have a joint prep. of some kind.If you are using 7018 then try 140 amps you might be too hot but you can go down slightly from there.
