Thanks all for the tips! I made the call, got the parts and all is well now. Hats off to Miller for outstanding customer service. I wish more companies would stand behind their products like that.

I tried the 18004miller line and didn't get through. My warrant shop phoned them and took care of it for me.

You can phone them directly. Here are some numbers from the Hobart forum :

    920-831-4898
    920-954-3610

This is to their tech line and seems they know about the problem.

    Hope this helps.

PJ and cunning are both on the ball. I had a similar problem and miller fixed me up in two days aswell. If you feel up to it I would replace it myself. It takes ten minutes and saves a whole lotta down time and gasoline!
    Hope this helps.

    This happend to me too.

It turns out that some units got defective outsourced valves. Call Miller or get your dealer/warranty shop to phone Miller with your serial #. They will send new ones to you in 2 days like they did me (and I live in Canada). Make sure you get both replaced. Good luck.

That link didn't seem to have any relevance. You sure that's the right one?

I plan to call the dealer tommorow, just wondering if it just needs to be worked in or something.

Check out this post from our friend Canuck.

I think I would look for something like this or dirt in the solonoid. If help is available take it to the service shop{ if it is in warranty still- 3 years}.
    Peace,
