Miller B/W Elite issue

hello

i have been using my B/W for a few days now. its a very nice helmet.
but one problem i have is the tensioner on the sides. i weld in a dimmly lit garage, i need to flip it up & down a lot. i adjust the tension perfect, but it doesn't stay that way. it loosens after a few flips. can i do something to fix this ?

The adjustment knob is being slid loose by the rotation of the hood, if I understand the description of the problem. I had a similar problem on my speedglas when it was new, I put a dot or two of fingernail polish on the threads of the adjustment screw and bingo no more problem. Kinda like locktight but for plastic!
