    I plan on building a boat and welding 3/16"max. aluminum. Would the 3545 be adequate as far as wire speeds and performance or should I opt for the 30A. I've already purchased a Millermatic 251. Thanks

    The spoolmatic 30a hooks right up to the mm251 and I think you have to buy the sga control for the 3545 to work. I personally would go for the 30a because that's a lot of welds on a boat, besides the performance is much better and it's a plug and play item.

      I agree.

      The spool 30 is a much better unit and will take the continuous welding at higher amps better than the little 3035. The 3035 was intended more for the 210 and under machines.
