    wheels,

What are you complete settings? You mentioned steel and AC. That's one of my tricks on 1/8" and thinner. Where is you EN balance? Straight argon? What filler?

              wheels,

It works well on 1/8" and thinner. I have also had good results on 1/8" up to 3/4". Use the same amperage, pulse, etc as you would for DC. Then set you process to ac with 96-99%EN balance to aid in cleaning the mill scale. Now you have the AC cleaning, longer life tungsten (due to its cooling time between + and - on the squarewave cycle), and frequency adjustment as needed. Anything over a 1/4" I have been using 75%helium/25%argon. By the way 1/4" -5/16" will max the D200DX. The 1/4"-3/4" is with a Dynasty 300DX.

                    looks sweet

seems like a lot of truble for some cows he must realy like his cows to have you build a custom fence rether than getting 1 at a tractor suply co.not a shot at you it looks great it just seems like you would caust a lot more than a factory job.that realy looks like a lot of work.

I hear you on that, but it is nice to have someone who wants something done properly as opposed to the half done quick fix (the bane of my life!).

Prefabbed panels are good if you want them to move around, but in high pressure areas such as a loading ramp or the race movement isn't a good thing, makes for an unsafe environment when working the cattle. I cut, tack, weld, clean, paint cold gal and put those panels in the ground in roughly 45 mins. Needless to say that the little Bobcat 250 has been clocking up the hours on that job!! I'm using Hobart Fabshield 21B self shielding flux core wire and it seems to be a very good wire! I'd actually prefer to weld over gal with that stuff rather than use conventional MIG setup.

Nice work Tackit! I'd better not let my old man see these, otherwise he'll want me to do weld him up some tractor stuff as well (in my spare time!). That is a neat design for the spray pack, much better than trying to strap it to a carry all...
