As of today, the board lists 929 members. 1132 threads have been started, and over 7,000 replys have been posted.

Intersting to me is the fact that of the 929 members, only 46 have replied 25 or more times to the pleas for help from the multitudes.

I salute you. You are the helpers, the enablers, the folks who never fail to offer help no matter the consequence. You're the horses that pull this wagon.

I'll second that. I have learned quite a alot over a short period of time all of which has helped me to focus on becoming a professenal welder. Thanks to all that have encouraged me along the way and as of July 5 I will welding aluminum tanker trailers at a local shop. Thanks once again to Miller and everyone else.

Geesh Hank , I must be one of those guys who have responded more than 25 times. Thanks for the "pat on the back", but I still consider myself a newbie.

I do think this is a great place though, and I am impressed with the amount of knowledge and experience. It is good to know that this forum can help someone like Canuck get a new career started, congratulations.And thanks to you too Hank , as obviously, you too are one of the "horses"....

Miller Electric, and Andy, should be proud of what they have developed here. Being in the distributor field for so many years, I have built a list of contacts that I can turn to for advice in the welding field, this site has brought people with those kind of skill levels into reach of the everyday welder, professional or hobbyist. That is surely a great asset to those who use it...

Thanks everyone. I will be MIG welding mostly with an XR push/pull gun from a dimension series welder. They are going to train me on what to do for a while and then I will be inside tankers welding away!

Despite having been in the trade I havnt "studied" anything about welding since college and the forums have given me a chance to come up to speed some.
