Read your manual. 18-20 scfh is plenty. With a arger machine running spray transfer 25-35 might ber necessary but not for a 135. 25scfh max.

          fun,

20 should do it with that small of gun. As long as you don't get any contamination or bubbles in the weld, keep turning it down. Keep in mind that welding in the flat will need less gas than out of position.

I run 20cfh on .030 with my mm210, does great except out of position the its a slight low- I bump it up to 22 or 24cfh. Gas costs too much to waste it.

            Peace,

I have always backed off on the pressure until I see the bubbles starting in the weld and then go back up just a little. The gage settings are just a reccomendation, the gun and your style of welding will control your best setting. Also if you have ANY air moving around you that changes the settings too, you need to increase for that.
Even back when I didn't have to pay for the gas I hated to change the heavy bottle so I was conservative.

                      TimW:
I tend to adjust my style to match the chart centerline that way I know the setup time and time again and if something has changed, normally it's me not the equipment.

When I run into something wierd then I stray from the middle of the road, but its an analytical decision and controlled by changing only individual perameters at a time, to achieve the desired effect.

                      I weld for pleasure,
