  • Bare mig wire.

    Hawk.
After reading your post about bare (uncoated) mig wire I decided to try some but my local supplier doesn't have any. What brand is the wire you use?
    Thanks.

    Wayne,

Did you try Hust Bros. in Marysville, or MJB in Oroville?

    Be well.

I ran across this one at Lincoln's site.

Choose the Lincoln Electric web site for your country or region to find the best selection of welding equipment, welding wire and electrode, welding safety equipment, weld fume control, and welding automation systems.

You should be able to have your dealer order you some in whatever his favorite brand is. Lincoln, Esab, National Standard and Hobart all have it, most every distributor sells one or two of these brands.

          Waymne,

The brand escapes me at this early hour. I know National Welders carries it in #44 lb spools, but will have to check the brand. Email me at [email protected] or through the forum and I'll find the brand name.
