Dynasty powering a wire feeder?

Has anybody tried running a voltage sensing feeder with a Dynasty? The Miller suitcase feeders can be set to either constant current, or constant voltage, so I was wondering how one would perform set to constant current, using a Dynasty 200 DX as the power source.

I presently have have a Bobcat 3 phase that I use to power the feeder, but that's getting to be a pain as the Bobcat can't be run indoors as well as it irritates the neighbors when I try and work on something in the evenings.

Doubtful. What about an exhuast extension on the Bobcat to quiet things down?

Yeah, Ive done it. Well, I used a Maxstar 200DX, and an 8vs. 023 wire, 120v input. Worked smoothly. It was a spray. But, you cant do it it the machine is equipped with an OCV drop circut like the new inverters all have. It takes your 80v OCV and gives you a safe 12v ocv. The circut is tripped much like a lift arc tig. So your answer is no, unless you have a Maxstar 200, first generation, or a dynasty 300 first or second gen.
