    The sizes always refer to the wire. The tips are already oversized to feed the specified wire diameter.

    You can run .023, .024, and .025 in ANY combination of tips, wire, drive rolls, liners, etc. and any problems will not be associated with the labeled sizes.

    I don't even look at the third number, as long at it said .02X, it got used anywhere.

      Since this thread got started, I did a little research on the tips. Tweco advertises an actual tip ID of .031 on their .023 tips. Might help on the tip questions!
