Congratulations on your new machine Collier. You made a great choice. The Syncrowave has been, and still is a great machine. For years it was "THE" tig machine. But move over, there is a new sheriff in town. The Dynasty is the new wave of tig machines and it is a sweetheart.

If there is one thing that I have learned in 20 years of selling welding equipment, it is that most welders are really hard to get to change from any product that has worked for them in the past. The fact that so many don't want to give up their Syncrowaves is a testament to just how great those machines are. But once the Dynasty line gets rooted in this industry it will build an even stronger reputaion for Miller Tig machines.

As far as anyone shying away from a Dynasty because it is an inverter, that is pure hogwash. I still rember striking my first arc with Maxstar 90 back in the 80's, it didn't take long to make me a believer in inverter technology. There have been some stumbling blocks along the way, but Miller has really got it's act together when it comes to inverters. Those welders who thought you should buy a Syncrowave should come to your shop and try your Dynasty out after you get it a`ll set up and get the hang of it. I'm betting it will put a smile on each and every one of their faces.

Our best selling industrial machines are Inverters, and have been for quite a few years. The XMT's and Invision lines are fantastic. We have super good results with Maxstars. The 200 Dx has performed flawlessly at many pipe shops in tig and stick applications. The Maxstar 150 is selling great for maintenence applications, and the Dynasty has been just wowing those who have tried it.

Enjoy your new machine, it's a dandy!

Just got the new Dynasty 200DX

I received the new Dynasty last night and finished the wiring this morning. The water cooled torch setup did not come yet, so all I could do was a little stick welding. THAT MACHINE IS FANTASTIC!!
I am not a welder and all I had at home before was a little 225 AC that I have burned hundreds of pounds of rod with. It was hard to start and would not maintain an arc at very low amps. This morning I was starting and running nice welds at 50 amps with 3/32 rod and it started every time with no stick in both AC and DC.

I want to thank HAWK and everyone else who advised me to get this machine. All the local welders said get the Syncrowave 250. They were against any thing new. I will let you know then I try TIG and will try to post a photo of the set-up. I built a nice cart for the macnine, water cooler anf gas and hangers for all the cords. I put a 50 ft input cord and 25 ft. leads so I can go all over my shop and outside.

I have gas welded a good bit and played with TIG so I will probably need help when I start. I am retired and just doing hobby work. I am also building a 20% scale model of a 9 cylinder radial engine.

    Again, THANKS

    john Collier
