  • Onan/Robin Engines on Miller's Equipment

    Hello to everyone,

First of all I'd like to introduce myself to the community. My name is Jack and I work for Robin Subaru, Inc.

I've read a few posts on this board from some confused Miller Welder users regarding Onan engine. I'd like to clarify a few of the questions.

So, Onan220 OHV engine has always been a Robin motor, we have private labeled the Onan brand for over two years to Cummins/Onan. As you probably noticed, the decal on the current engines shows Onan by Robin, even though we still private label for Onan we took the support on these engines in our own hands.
We now handle sales of parts, service/warranty thru our own dealer/distributor network. Please visit us at http://www.robinsubaru.com to locate a dealer or to contact us thru the e-mail.

I will try to frequently attend this board and help you out with any Robin related problem.

    Best regards,

    Jack Gawecki

glad to have you aboard.. having a direct pipeline to the factory will help to dispel rumors and head off problems... btw had you guys considered posting your manuals in pdf format the way some other manufacturers are???... it would sure help those of us that already own Robin Engines and would probably help to sell a few as well....
      Thanks

        Heiti,

The manuals are available for download on our web site. When you log in, please input EH65 (EH65 is a Robin V-twin designation) into the model search box, click Go. This should take you directly to the model, on the right hand side, there will be a yellow tab with red links, follow the links to download the manual.

It is crucial that you put EH65 instead of the Onan model. All manuals are there, Owner's, Parts and Service. Please keep in mind that we have a special Parts Manual for Welder application engines. If anyone is in need of this manual, please either post it here on the message board or e-mail me at [email protected] I will be more than happy to send the manual to anyone who is in need of it.

Nice to see Onan/Robin take care of business. Good work, Jack. Always good to see companies take care of customers, what more could you want out of a business?

              Robin not Onan

              Guys
just looked at he latest version of the pdf manual for the Trailblazer 301G online... it No Longer refers to ONAN.... the engine is identified as a ROBIN EH-64 .... maybe some of the Onan stigma will start to fade... the online sales brochure still lists it as an Onan though... spect that will change soon too.... so let the Robin vs Kohler debate begin.....
