  • Vintage & Sync 250???? Sync for SALE.

What is the setup (connections) necessary to make when using "stick" on my Synchr 250? It is about 3 years old. Does not state in the manuel.

Also, does anyone know the amp range of the older "Vintage".
Manuel not available on line. Misplaced the original.

    Thanks

Believe it or not am going to sell the Sync 250 and it hasa max of 15-20 hours on it. No joke, it has set all this time as I was preoccupied starting a business. Will make a great deal. Live in Louisiana. Want to get a Dynasty.

Is the ER70 S-6 the right mig wire for mild steel and is this number a "Hobart" number or just a classification number??

    JWELD,

ER70S-6 is the type wire to use for mild steel. It is not a Hobart number. It can be bought under myriad brand names, but the spec is ER70S-6. Most stick welding is DCRP: Work piece lead in the negative and electrode lead in the positive. If running a 7014 or 6013, then reverse the leads to get DCSP. Post your Sync for sale with your email address. Don't post pricing, etc on the forum. That could get sticky- Just list the item(s) for sale and your address where we can contact you by email. If you don't care shoot me a price at [email protected]

                  JWELD,

I just read H80N's replies. I know from previous posts he is really high on the owner's manuals. As a matter of fact he and Andy discussed that they contain a tremendous amount of information regarding machine set up, operation, and safety. I REALLY DON'T THINK HE MEANT ANYTHING BAD. Just my thought because I don't want to see this forum turn into a b.......session and the whole thing CANCELLED.
