I need advice. I need a TIG mahine and was going with the syncrowave 250 until I started reading all the posts on the dynasty 200dx. This will be for shop use only and 90% will be 16-20 gauge mild steel. I have MM210 for thicker steel and will consider a spool gun for any thick aluminum. Miller designed the dynasty for the field so I'm sure it will hold up in the shop. Plus its a $1000 less expensive then the syncro. 250. Maybe I just answered my own question.

wmarov,
Welcome,
I think for the finer gauge material you are wanting to do, the Dynasty 200 is the way to go. Or, let me throw this out at ya. If you don't need the ability to do aluminum, a less expensive unit would be the Maxstar 200 or even the Maxstar 150STH. I think HAWK still has a Maxstar 200 for sale. Anyway, for your material, the inverters are the way to go.
Hope this helps.
Andy
