If the whole unit is shutting down, then the on/off switch on the machine has failed

Good Day folks, hoping you guys can help me figure out why my machine keeps turning off after 5 seconds after turning it on. Just had the electrician wire it to a shut off box but it wont stay on. im stumped, any suggestions?
