I am a professional welder myself (shipbuilding...meaning contorted welding 99% of the time) and I just get Walmart ****ies brand. I can go to the company store and buy Carhartt but why? The only thing that makes them flame retardant is starch and you can do that yourself. The reverse of that too of course, is the more you wash them without starch, the less flame retardant the Carhartt gets so it is a moot point. I can buy a pair at Walmart for $23.93, or 3 pairs to one pair of Carhartts.
Do Carhartts really last three times as long? That is really the question.

I just go to walmart and get wrangler jeans for under 10 bucks a pair. they last for about 7 months then I go get a few more.sometimes they will last a year depending on what jobs I do..i can't see paying 30 40 bucks for something that's gonna get burned up anyways. got a good deal on my shirts too this guy went out of busness and had something like 1000+ shirts stacked in his house. I got them for 20 bucks a peice cash. the tag says Cajun on them they are hard green and the thickest shirts I ever wore.

carhartt jeans
The quality of the jeans has gone to ****. I bought 4 pairs 4 months ago. And their all ripped up with holes in the crotch area and the stitching coming apart. What's a good other brand to buy . Im a field welder so in in all types of positions and like the b01 style carhartt was putting out. For the cost im expecting better qualityTags: None
