  • Help finding a thread

I was looking for the recent thread where the picture of the homemade purge block picture was posted for ss corner joints. What was the name of that thread? It had the square tube with a hose port and a bunch of holes in the corner.

    Thanks!

Looks like a nice little setup. Was it fun to drill the holes on the corner? Also, was that just a brass valve or something special? Looks like it has inert fittings on it.

You have a perverse sense if fun, "Elvis"...if that's even your REAL name...

It is just an inert gas valve I took off one of my western "Y" setups I had in the drawer. The bung on the aluminum box used to be a double female AN fitting I had in my nitrous parts bin. I cut it in half and ground the anodize finish off. Worked good.

When I get a spare minute or three, I'm gonna add the other half of that to one of the ends so I can make this box a little more versatile.

If you make one, don't forget to fill the inside with something to disperse the gas. I used a stainless steel scrubbing pad.

I could make one for you if you need me to.
