250V MVP plug craziness

Hi folks, hopefully this is an easy dumb question. I've got a couple of machines with the 250V MVP plugs (375 xtreme and syncrowave 210), and different outlets in the shop I'm renting (so I don't want to swap out the outlets). I imagine there's got to be an adapter somewhere -- the outlets say 'NEMA 14-20R' and are smaller than the MVP plug, and have 4 holes to the plug's 3. Ideas?Thanks!

I would just make up a short adapter cable to convert the 4 pin to three pin. The four pin is generally hot, the other hot, neutral, and ground. In the three pin they omit neutral, as I understand it. They are both 240 volts between the two hot wires. You can get all the material at Home Depot or Lowes. If this seems too complicated, find a friend who knows something about electricity, or an electrician who would accept a case if beer as payment for wiring it up.

Just google 230v adapters. You can diy or purchase pre made units.

Why not just change the wall sockets?
