I was using 5454 alloy 1/4". 2% thoriated that came with the kit 3/32.
75% ballance,100% argon ,130 amps , 120 h/z. Somehow my settings don`t sound right, but this is the product of only about two hours of fiddling around. Far better than I had hoped for.

    Thanks for the insight.

    Wheels,

What do you think of the machine? It looks like the filler flowed in nicely. What settings are you using?

    Wheels,

What is your file type? JPEG? If it is a JPEG, try using your printer program or photo editor to reduce the file size. Your program probaby has the provision to change DPI and inches or pixels. Change DPI to 72 and choose inches rather than pixels. Change to 2x4 or 3x5. The right mouse click the file and choose properties. This will give you the new file size. If it is plenty small, but fuzzy, increase the DPI to 150 and save as a new file and check the properties again. Email me through the forum with the programs you are using and I'll be glad to give you specifics.

Finally made time to try out the 200. I`m trying to post pictures, but the file is too large. Any suggestions? My file size is 116000 bytes.
