  • Bench top welding positioner?

I am looking to purchase a welding positioner. It needs to be a benchtop and somewhere in the 200-300lb capacity. I have been looking at Baileigh, Atlas, Allfab and Slugger. What do you guys use and are you happy with them? Purge option is nice but not necessary. Thanks. Dave

We bought our table tops from Bowers Equipment, Humble, Tx.,, 200 lb. capacity,,, @6",, I put mine on a roll around table top,, it's what I use for welding my 1/2" thru 3" pipe. The center shaft has about a 5/8" dia. hole in the center that I run my purge line through. I've had mine since about 1996.

I ended up going with the Baileigh Industrial wp-750. Definitely Taiwan imported but seems like a solid machine so far. Pedal is plastic though.

Got a picture of the new machine? I'm interested in a small positioned myself. My current one resembles a bench vice. Oh wait, it is a bench vice.
