I bought an old white face MM200 yesterday pretty cheap ($300). I put a new liner in the Profax 400 that's on it, put a roll of .035" in it and laid down some nice beads. Problem is, the wire stays hot when I let off the trigger because the contactor is sticking. It will release if I tap on the points cover. I looked at the Miller replacement contactor and am not liking the price from my local supplier ($270+tax). Does anyone have a number for an aftermarket or are the points links replaceable? Thanks in advance.

the MM200 used an off the shelf 3ph motor starter... match the specs printed on your old one and buy one on ebay... probably $50 range
(manufacturers part number usually printed on the body...)
it may just need to be cleaned with contact cleaner or have points replaced..

Try cleaning them with a points file. I did not have any luck finding replacement points. Next option is to buy a definite purpose contactor off ebay, just make sure it has the same voltage coil and rating. They ran about $75 when I was looking.
