  • Weld craft torch

    Hey Guy's,

    Does anybody have a weldcraft torch wt24-wf,just hook this thing up and when i start a arc it gust blows through aluminum like you have the argon turned off,i know its not the machine or the gas,just did some .065 stuff then hooked this torch up and had this problem,hooked the diamondback up no problem,any ideas,and there is gas flow through torch..

    The w24 uses a really short cup and tungsten.. with not much stickout...

    how much stickout do you have??

    too long and it will make turbulence and draw in air..which will cause mayhem

      Only about 3/16" i will try to shorten it up more,wanted to use this to get inside intake runners on aluminum cylinder heads,need to get it sorted out..

        were you able to resolve that issue..??

        that torch in tight places is prone to turbulence..

        you might need to adjust your Argon flow....

        and believe it or not... sometimes less is better
