Could just need a calibration, never trust those digital read outs to be perfect as well

    Hot welder

Check out a older thread that I had about my TB325, it sort'a sounds kinda like mine but not the same.....

I call Miller directly and told them what my machine was doing and after a few call back and forth, not me calling and complaining, both side trying to get this machine fixed, Miller was very helpful to get my machine running they way I liked it, long story short they sent me a new board and BAM..... One of the nicest machine I ever used.

I have had a few pipeline guys use my machine and they love it......

Call miller and ask for Travis Purgett, he is the engine welder division manger very smart man tell him what you are getting and see what they will do for you???

Sometimes the LWS can't do much they are just too small to get results, to many channels to go through, not that they don't try just to many hands in the pot...

Keep in mind i have welded with dozens of machines including a $10k dynasty 350 set up. All are the same except for this trailblazer. I took it to my lws to get them to figure it out but apparently they claim theirs nothing wrong with it after hooking it up to their amp meter machine. (puts it thought the duty cycle and measures the amps) i just dont see how it can blow holes through plate at 120amps with a 1/8" 7018 rod. Any help form you guys would be appreciated.
I would take it to the lws, set the amps at 120 and show them what it does. Ie weld with it. If they dont resolve the issue call miller. I would also try other rods ie 6010, 6011. And see if they are doing the same thing. Ie run hot. Or return the thing and buy a 305g and not have issues. Fyi i work for one of the largest pipeline companies in the US and there is not one tb325 on any rig welders truck. They hate them..lots of 305gs..im one of them.
