trailblazer 325 efi seems to weld 30amps hot

I bought my trailblazer 325 EFI excel power a while back, and only have about 40 hrs on it. The first job I used it on was a wind turbine bed plate. I was running 1/8" 7018 at 130 amps with 200 ft of leads. It welded great, and I thought the hot start was much better than both of my vantage machines. The next job I used it on was some 6" and 8" sch 40 pipe. On that job I was running 1/8" 5p+ ( 100 amps) & 5/32 5p+ ( 135 amps) it ran so hot had to turn it down to 70 amps on 1/8 , and 100 amps for 5/32. It still seemed hot at those settings. For me the exx18 ran great but the exx10 was way off.

Hi guys. I made a post on the other forum site about this as well. Im looking for more miller support with posting over here due to the fact im not sure if you miller guys head over to the other forums or not. My issue is that i just bought a new trailblazer from my lws. Spent over $6000 for the machine with efi and excel power. Ever sence new (it only has 10 hours on it) it seems to weld 30 amps hot. Example, every machine ive ever welded with loves to burn 1/8" 7018 at 120 amps +/- a few amps. With this new trailblazer i have to run at 90 amps to get a halfway decent weld. Why would a brand new machine do this? I took it back to another branch of the same company i bought it from to have them check it out. They say put it on their load machine and they claim its putting out exactly what the led panel on the trailblazer says. They claim to also have welded with it without issue. Is it just me or is it wrong to have to burn 1/8" 7018 at 90 amps? The base metal i was testing the machine out with was a 3/8" coupon. I was getting nothing but undercut on the 3/8" plate and blow through on anything thinner. The lws is acting lime im some punk 20 year old who has no idea what im doing but little do they know that ive been welding for 6 year on dozens of machines. This is the first machine that has done this to me. yes i understand some machines might have a 5amp difference, maybe even a 10amp difference, but 30? Thats way out of spec.Any help from you guys would be great.
