  • thanks for the help.

just joined this group. Idon't weld for a living. I have had a sears ac welder for many years, like 48. anyway my grandson wanted to learn to weld. so I bought a box of 7014 rods, gave him some scrap and told him to practice. after a few days he was running a pretty nice bead. I put him repairing 2 dumpsters. those are done. decided we needed a mig, but which one, found this sight. what a treasure chest of information! ordered a millermatic 211. without yall,s help I could not have made an intelligent choice. my grandson starts welding class next month.

The MM211 was a great choice. I'm sure that you will find that the members of this forum are always willing to help! I am sometimes amazed at the knowledge and experience of some of these guys. If you have a question-just ask! I'll bet one of the members will have the answer.
