    Check your "dig" control to make sure it's not set too low.

    The higher the stick mode dig setting the less likely it is you'll stick the rod - IF your amperage setting is high enough for the rod used so double check that too.

    Well yeah, it'll go to a over current cause it's a dead short, then it'll shut the arc off to protect itself, and through a code. Nothing to worry about. Maybe just turn the amperage up so the rod won't stick.

    SCR over current/under current. Turn off machine to reset. If condition persists take to repair facility.

    No I'm saying that my machine works correctly when I'm tigging on tig mode but shows a help 1 code when a rod sticks in stick mode. Sorry phone autocorrected tig originally to "right".

    Hello, I am getting a help 1 code when I stick a rod on my syncrowave 180 SD. Does not happen if I'm on right mode.
