  • XMT304 Help, have you had this issue?

Hello, I just bought a XMT304 and it is obviously used. When I turn on the machine it goes through its power up and clicks on and both displays stay at zero. No help codes come on but no matter if I change the V/A knob, the display keeps showing 0 like it shows in the attached picture. It seems to go through the modes because the Volt display will shut off during Tig and CC and the Amp display will shut off during the Mig setting. The welding lead connections measure at 85 volts and according to some videos I watched on this machine, that seems to be right on or close to the volts when the machine is just sitting idle and not in operation. I was just hoping the problem was in the front display board and not the board on top or the one on the side. Any information would be great or any suggestions of other things to test out let me know! Thank you!

Front display board is having problems, might want to open it up and check if the pickup connectors are attached to the rear of the output studs

Thanks Cruizer! I had it opened up over the weekend and checked all the connections and everything seemed to be fine, shook the connections and everything seemed solid since nothing changed. Thanks again!
