Welding is complicated. sometimes it doesn't work the way we want it to. I've had a few issues with Miller machines, most often it was operator error, or lack of knowledge. In each case they have been the best company I've ever dealt with. Miller equipment ain't cheap. Part of what I pay for is customer service, with Miller I get my money's worth.

Another +1. I'm not in the business but have had several occasions to call Miller with questions; every single occasion was friendly, competent, and quick response. Agree their stuff is expensive, but I've learned over many years that things that are cheap are usually not inexpensive in the long run. I really appreciate H80N's tag lines at the end of his posts to that effect. Quality is worth it!
