A good book if you don't mind that it is published by The James F. Lincoln Arc
Welding Foundation. I came across a used copy in a book store for $1. Amazon
has a few. They are the second edition, 1990.

The Lincoln Welding foundation is a not for profit corp and separate from the welding equip company..
