  • How to set up a wire feeder on my bobcat 225

I'm looking to put a wire feeder on my bobcat 225 so I can do some mig/flux core welding. I was wondering what type of wire feeder I needed to get and how to hook it up

Any type of Voltage Sensing wire feeder with built in contactor will be fine, so Miller X-treme, Lincoln Ln-25, T-dyne Hefty, ESAB cc/cv, ..........

        Get yourself a 8vs or 12vs
        .

        Millermatic 211

Work better & less parts to stock.

Even if my welder is a generator welder that runs of propane I shouldn't have a problem hooking one up?

Of course, the feeder in this case runs off the arc cables,ie voltage sensing. And the fuel you use for your engine really has no bearing on the generator, other than correct engine speed.
