  • Coolmate 3 flow indicator?

I just hooked up my Coolmate 3 to a 20 torch with 25' of hose. I read some previous posts that the paddle wheel doesn't always work with this setup. Mine spins like a top! But the question is, why are there two different paddle wheels. The one in there has alot of the middle section cut away. The one that was rattling around in the box has full length paddles. Is the cut away paddle the right one to use with the 250A torch? There is nothing in the manual that I saw mentioning different paddle wheels.

    Inquiring minds want to know.

    Thanks, X

    Mine doesn't move and that

is on a brand new { well 5m old now }dynasty 300 tig runner. I've heard a few complaints about the wheel not moving, but it really doesn't bother me, because the torch head is still getting cooled.

      Mike,

Did your cooler come with 2 different paddle wheels?
I'm still curious why mine has 2 and there is no mention about it in the manual.

      Thanks,

mine didn't come with two wheels

I think that was the fix that was implamented later.
