I have been tig welding in my home shop (hobby) for many years with a Century AC/DC 230/140 buzz box using a CK200 water cooled/flex head torch with 25' leads. I just upgraded to a Miller Diversion 180 so I can start to learn to weld aluminum. I like everything about my CK 200 and nothing about the Weld Master model 17 on the Miller. I want to change them. The torch lead coming out of the 180 is fixed in place by a clamping fitting. Does anyone know what I am going to get into when I remove the cover of the machine to try to swap torches?Jim

if you convert the front panel to Gas-Thru Dinse then you could use a water cooled adaptor like on a Linc SqWave Tig 175...

Although if it were my Diversion... I would probably just put a "Stubby Kit" on the factory provided 17 series torch and run 9/20 series cups.. collets and consumables for about $50 ..and be done with it..

I do have a stubby kit coming from Weld Monger but I have the CK200 flex head I like and I have had enough of hot torch handles. I now have not much use for the CK 200 so why not put it on the Diversion? I would then swap the Diversion 17 onto the buzz box for the rare occasion I may want to use it.
