and would be a version equipped with "Blue Lightning"
This would be one of the later more refined versions..
I bought mine new in 2009... it has been a marvelous machine...ZERO issues..
Here is a link to the manual...

Also what would be a decent price for a used machine like this used. It's ready to go with coolmate 1 cooler foot pedal and torch. Don't know the hours on it yet. Just looking for a ballpark what these are going for. I'm basically looking for something to use around the garage that takes up less space and power than my dialarc

Cruizer
FWIW... from what I have seen... the number of arc starts or hours seem to have little bearing on the future reliability of a Dynasty... as a matter of fact I would rather see a unit with more than a couple hundred arc starts and hours run than fewer... that would get you past any "infant mortality" issues...
I would be concerned if the unit looked physically worn or beat...though...
Cruizer would probably be the best one here to comment on that...
Somewhere in one of the Dynasty threads.. Cruizer outlined his thoughts on preventive maintenance that would help a Dynasty live a long and happy life...
if anyone sees it could you post a link..it was good commonsense advice based on his years of maint and repair on them..

Where i would worry would be a welder with little info. I had industrial customers whos welders had thosands of hours on them where the welder was in a fixed welding both. The exterior of the welder...ie case looked perfect. The welders were replaced on a 3 year program. However some of the welders were used 6 days a week, 16 hrs a day, 50 weeks a year. They were traded for new and one would believe they had never been shut off in 3 years.
Knowing arc starts and hours gives a general use of the welder. Ideally it has had some use, but not industrial useage. When a machine is the companies production normally overrides maintance.
