  • Dynasty 280 DX over heat alarm

    HI Looking for help
    I have a brand new dynasty DX 280 with 30 minutes of weld time on the unit

    Turn the unit on (please note the welder has not been used for a week)and goes straight to over heat alarm
    Cycle the power same alarm

    The Dynasty 280 is a new model so it MUST be under warrantee

    I would call Miller Tech Support... and see about exchanging it...

      Very seldom does over heat mean overheat. A lot of various things here, might just be that your foot pedal is depressed before the unit booted up, also may mean that your input power isn't correct, ie, lost a leg on 230. There is another couple things, that I can't remember right now, or just maybe the machine is hooped but I doulbt it.
