  • Big Blue PipePro 350 Mit

For all you techs in tech land and having problems with the Mit engine starting, starting erraticly, or running erraticly.

First thing Most techs and I do, is to order up a new digital governor, and replace it. This seems to temporarily solve the problem, just to have it reappear when its cold out.

I've found that one or more of the sockets in the plug that goes into the governor may be oversize. (Not making a secure contact with its mating governor pin). If you look into the plug and can't see the female sockets, its oversized. If you pry the edges together with the end of a probe lead, the machine may suddenly start up and work fine.

Took me too many hours of trial, tracing, jumpering and replacing parts, to figure out this one
