  • Multimatic 200 - tungsten type and size

I just ordered a Multimatic 200 w/ TIG kit. Does anyone know which sizes of tungsten it is equipped for and what type I should use for 300 - series SS?Thanks!

If it were me I would use 3/32 2% Lanthanated (BLUE tip)

it can be ground and prepped for everything that your Multimatic is capable of...
from the thinnest up to the max capacity..

See page 61 of the manual for grinding and prep guidelines.....

Thanks. I hadn't thought to download the manual.

I was able to grab a few and some filler rod to play with when it arrives....

It came preloaded w/ 3/32" ceriated.

I am impressed w/ the build quality. Setup was easy, and I like the autoset. I only had time to try a couple short beads, but I like what I see.
