On dc mode, with high freq on for start...i cant get it to start an arc with the pedal or thumb control unless i scratch it. On ac mode high freq on constant it works great. I know i cant be the first to run accross this problem... For starters im wondering if i need to go through and run the proper electricity to it, currently its on my 50 amp circuits i use for plasma and mig but this was just to get it up and going. I rarely will use it over half output anyways... Feel free to chime in!!
    Welcome aboard...

first thing to do is to post your machine serial number so that correct documentation/manuals can be looked at...

likely the machine needs blown out and HF polnts cleaned and regapped as well..

Cruizer has suggested .012 as opposed to the .008 the book suggests..

there have been many threads on this subject... you might search and read them..

    Here is a good one...
