My advise would be to buy American, and then you would be assured of parts and service. Buy the best you can afford and never regret your decision!

I have a maxstar 150sth. Has hf start and a few pulse settings. Runs on 110 or 220. Weighs 11 pounds and is the size of a shoebox. Worst part is dragging a bottle around. I was out the door for less than 2k with a pedal, torch, a bunch of extra tungsten and torch stuff all brand new. I had a bottle and Flowmeter already. It is a nice little machine.
It doesn't have ac output but it is much cheaper than a dynasty. Would a dynasty be better? He l l yes. But for what I have to do it works great. I out a little extra aside for a 200dx here and there.MillerMatic 251
