I'm ready to purchase a Millermatic 200 and a No.2 spool of gasless .030 wire. I saw on a video that you have to remove the center of the reel in the machine to make the No.2 spool fit. Is that correct?

Yep, you take off the reg spool,install a spring , your 1lb spool and off you go, after reversing your Polaritys for innershield
