hf starts but no gas flow, the snap start box does not have pre or post flow dials serial # kk 124230, I have a supplementary data sheet form:s183 502a says G gas valve control connection; 24v applied to socket turns gas valve on 0 v ac turns off. H + 15v dc when open circuit is present at weld output receptacles 0v dc when arc ignites or contactor deenergizes I common conection for socket H, does this mean my foot pedal is wrong, 14 pin miller, also this combo was on a automated unit, the maxstar 152 serial # is kh503285, yes I have gas and torch works I tried it on another machine, it did have Teflon on inlet hose when I got it, I"ve never seen this hf box with out pre post controls was this a later version or something oddball and would it be a delayed arc/postflow, Thanks Pat

Is it still an automated unit? The pre and post flow that used to be controlled with arc sensing was removed. Soooo it was modified somewhat. And thats an unknown that we can't help you with. -
no its not automated anymore, the more I look at owners man. it looks like the snap start box was made for robotic use I could be wrong cause I cant find info anywhere, the pictures I see all have pre and post flow accept for a few Eagle Automation cells on e-bay, also the remote receptacle on box has I,H&G female termenails which is like the supplementary page in owners manual {may 1998** "for snap start II per nspr 10301" what ever that means, I guess I could see what I can figure out or check with service, Thanks for your help any ideas would be greatOriginally posted by cruizer View PostComment
