I'm new to Tig welding but I have done my homework. After setting up my new MM200 I attempted to Tig weld, but I can not get the arc to stay. I have the machine set to lift arc with remote. I place the electrode on the new clean steel and the press the pedal. While lifting up slowly the arc will start, but goes out almost immediately. Any help sure would be appreciated. All other modes work awesome. I think it Mig welds better than my MM251.
