I recently acquired an XMT350 CC/CV for what may or may not have been the right price (free) and am now attempting to troubleshoot it.
It's pretty clean inside, with no obvious failures (burnt components, exploded caps etc.) but when power is applied (230v 1ph) there's no activity at all. No front panel display, nothing.
It IS a 1ph/3ph multi-voltage unit as per the label on the back and I've confirmed the power switch is functional with a meter but that's about as far as I've gone.
I was a US Navy Electronics Technician for several years so while I may not have the skills to repair this thing I at least know how to keep myself from getting killed while attempting to repair it. I'm a hack welder, learned on stick, have run a bit of wire and now want to TIG some steel if I can get this unit up and running for a reasonable price.
I've done a web search and can't find the service manual (except for purchase, and I'm cheap...) so any help you could provide would be much appreciated.
Regards,
