Has any1 here ever owned or used a trailblazer 301g ac/dc machine and tried to air arc with it? As it states in the owner´s manual that it is capable of this process. I did and my results were a f´d up machine that doesnt have any weld output and no longer idles down.

I would bet you cranked it to max output and arced away....when ever air arcing off any welder never exceed 75 percent of max output. So on a tb 301set it at 250 amps, run 3/16 carbons and away you go. If set at max the machine will rev past the governed speed then lug as you dig with the carbons, not a good thing. Fyi i put over 1000hrs of air arcing on tb 301, 302's, and lincoln 305gs, i next to never grind, i use air arcs a lot.

You would think miller would put some kind of fuse or breaker in line to prevent screwing up the board. Or atleast some type of warning in the owners manual stating not to exceed a certain setting.
