all i need it for is aluminum!!

looks like it will be a tablesaw,
iron workers are sweet machines but budget not for it now... eventually maybe!

Table saw with a zero degree negative rake blade and lube works great for aluminum . You can build a sled jig that fits the mitre slot in the saw to set the angle of the notch or slot you need. Anodized aluminum will dull your blade very quickly and whatever you do don't try milling steel in a tablesaw.

Yes a table saw or a circular saw will work with aluminum. A carbide tipped blade with some lube & steady pressure. Chips fly everywhere so cover up. A good vertical band saw with a coarse blade at high speed with lube also cuts aluminum quickly.

My questions would be how many pcs. will you need to do over a few years & what is your budget?

A hydraulic notcher would work perfect but would cost several thousand for a good used one. We used to have a notching set-up that was basically a lower & upper. It was a unit that we could put into a press brake or a hydraulic press.

If you find one that won't do a big enough notch you can do it in steps.

Here is one. It is rated at 8ga steel but would do 1/4" aluminum.
