WANTED: Old Westinghouse SP9 Spool gun for parts. Hobart also had the SP9.

I am looking for a parts gun to get my old / new SP9 working. I could also use the long control cable that came with the setup. I need the trigger and possibly the screws that hold the handle together.

I have the 50th one made but i don't want to sell it. I have seen a few others online. Always thought that the profax/early airco's were the same until i started digging for info. The Westinghouse is different. Good luck..Bob

I do have extra cable as mine is like 50 foot and i am cutting it back some. It prob never will get used just to sit in my welding museum. Its actually going in my living room. Glass top welder with the spool gun hanging on the wall. Do you have a Westinghouse power source or just the gun? The switch can prob be matched up with something common. Do you have the orig switch? ...Bob

Hi,

The switch missing from my gun is actually plastic and pushes against a hardened spring that in turn presses a micro switch near the bottom of the handle. Now, there is a hole where the plastic switch went, but the actual electric switch is intact and working.
If you look at the pictures I attached in my original post you can see the area where the plastic switch goes. That's why if I could get my hands on a parts gun I could take it apart and use the switch.

Or I could just connect my leads to the "parts" gun and let it go at that. How much for your cable?
