bobcat 225 nt questions

What's yalls recommendations on welding lead sizes. I'm wanting 100 ft...wondering diameter I need. Also where are the serial numbers located on the machine so I can get the right manual for it. Thanks in advance

Not sure about serial number but the manual has a good chart for wire size on leads. Probably all the same for all Bobcats NT.

Usually 2/0 out with a 1/0 or less whip

Yeah, and unless you're really strong, I suggest 2 pieces with tweco connectors. This stuff is heavy. Winding up 100 footers won't be fun.

it's funny i started as a helper in a ship yard years ago and had to go get leads for the fitter i was working with and then had to role them up and turn them in every after noon thats when i said i am going to learn how to weld and fit so i don't have to do this.yet here i am 30 +years later with my own truck rolling out and rolling up 200+ feet of leads and torch hose go figure?
