Question: Is it better to avoid firing up a welder with circuit boards (like a Sync 250DX) when the machine is really cold (like 20°F)?
I know they say it's best to keep a "work" computer running 24/7 so you don't have hot/cold cycles 10 times per week that could cause caps to go bad or solder joints to loosen due to the thermal expansion/contraction ... so is this a concern with the integrated circuits on welding machines?
