    That's a great suggestion. They might even let you come by from time to time and let you help them out, which will get you some great experience and let you see things you might not otherwise see in school.

    Hello,
    Sorry I'm very new to this whole thing. Actually I'm about 10 minutes new. I am going to college to learn all I can about welding until I hit the work force. In one of my classes I am supposed to interview a professional welder. Unfortunately, I am the odd ball out of my family and friends (aka the only one who is interested in welding). So I know zero professional welders. I was wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out with this assignment as well as give me some advice for the future?
